Leisure Suit Larry III
Passionate Patti in Pursuit of
the Pulsating Pectorals
After Larry gets married to Kalalau on Nontoonyt Island,
the simple, primitive nature of the island disappears as the natives
begin the construction of modern civilization. Buildings of many
kinds, including casinos, hotels, and clubs, appear on the island
once inhabited by jungle. There are still areas of jungle that
coexist with the buildings. Most of the natives of Nontoonyt take
courses to learn about managing a modern city. Chief Keneewauwau
becomes known as Kenneth as he founds a new corporation called
Natives, Inc. to deal with native interests on the island.
While it does seem like a nice place, Larry actually faces two
sudden, traumatizing changes. He returns to his home to find that
Kalalau has divorced him because she wasn't completely satisfied
with everything. Even if Larry is devastated, he enters a phone
booth from out of nowhere and transforms into Leisure Suit Larry.
Then, Kenneth fires Larry from his marketing position at Natives,
Inc. because Larry doesn't even have marketing skills. Kenneth
uses Larry as a bowling ball as his way of letting Larry go.

Like before, Larry becomes single and vows to look
for love again, nearly scoring with four women in the process.
First, he meets a materialistic woman named Tawni on the beach.
Later, he grants the wish of a showgirl named Cherri Tart. There
is also a lawyer named Suzi Cheatem and an aerobics instructor
named Bambi. Larry gets really close to making it with these four
women. Unfortunately, something humiliating always occurs each
time and ends his session with the woman he's with.
Even if Larry is often unsuccessful, he still keeps trying. Refusing
to give up does pay off, because he meets yet another gorgeous
woman: Passionate Patti. He finds her playing a piano in a room
in the Nontoonyt resort. She wants a nice gift from a man who
is single and physically attractive. Larry would do anything to
ask her out on a date and go to great lengths to make sure that
he has the characteristics that Passionate Patti looks for in
particular.
Larry and Patti actually hit it off during the time they spend
together. The couple truly feels a strong love for each other,
as if they have found the mate of their dreams. While they sleep
in bed together, Patti thinks about leaving her boyfriend Arnold
to be with Larry. Sadly, Larry hears her mutter the name "Arnold"
and believes that she was thinking of someone else. Saddened,
he leaves and vows to never seek women again. Patti later wakes
up to find him gone, but she does spot him entering a bamboo jungle.
She loves him so much that she becomes determined to find him,
no matter what the risks are.
