The Perils Of Rosella
In the royal castle in the land of Daventry, King
Graham stands before his family consisting of Queen Valanice,
Prince Alexander, and Princess Rosella. Graham thinks that it
is time to pass his adventurer's cap to his son Alexander. He
throws it over to Alexander. However, just as his son gets ready
to catch, Graham collapses and feels a strong pain in his chest.
He is having a heart attack.
Graham lies in bed showing little strength and health left. His
family gathers around him with a sense of sorrow. Rosella is very
traumatized by Graham's unfortunate health problem and cries as
she leaves the bedroom. She sits in the throne room and continues
to cry her heart out. Suddenly, something appears in the Magic
Mirror nearby. In it is a beautiful fairy named Genesta.
Genesta immediately teleports Rosella to her homeland
of Tamir. The fairy lets the princess know that there is a magic
fruit somewhere that could heal Graham's heart attack. Genesta
also asks Rosella to help her in return so that she could return
Rosella to Daventry. The fairy is weakening by the minute and
will soon die if she does not get her magical medallion back.
Her medallion has been taken away by the evil fairy Lolotte, who
plans to rule Tamir when she gains power.
Rosella explores the land of Tamir after Genesta returns to her
home. She heads for Lolotte's castle and pays a visit to her.
The evil green fairy does become suspicious of Rosella, but decides
to have her find certain items that she wants. Rosella agrees
to do so in order to stay alive. She does remember that Lolotte
is evil, but doing favors for Lolotte might actually give her
a chance to defeat her.
As Rosella wanders all over Tamir, she encounters many beings,
both good and evil. There are Dwarves in a diamond mine as well
as a goat-like creature playing a flute. Dangerous creatures include
a giant ogre and some trees with sharp claws. If she is not careful
swimming in the sea, she might become a shark's lunch. Princess
Rosella must be a wary adventurer, because she only has 24 hours
to save Genesta as well as her father Graham.
