Singapore
Here are the pics from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.  We begin in Singapore where we met up with Ian's cousin Graeme and his lovely wife Mandy.
LB posing in the colonial charm of Singapore.
It really is amazing - four months on the road and we can still pretend to like each other.
Singapore is known for it's cleanliness.  It wasn't hard to find an example of the over zealous public service at work.  This woman is cleaning the subway stairs with kitchen tongs!
The orchids at the Singapore Botanical Gardens.
After months of searching we finally found an example of how pineapples actually grow.  Pretty cool, eh?
More flowers...
Mandy and Graeme were very gracious hosts while we enjoyed Singapore.
Enjoying Singapore Slings at Raffles - it's the thing to do in Singapore.
Blood is thicker than water.
Zathras took care of our laundry for us.
Malaysia
From Singapore we headed straight to the Perhentian Islands in northern Malaysia, where our agenda included diving and tanning.
Good advice!
We ate the big one on the left for dinner.  Yummy kingfish!
Accomodation at Coral Bay on the Perhentian's - less than $10 per night.
Ian can read.

The spread at a Malaysian night market.
I'll try any pancake once.
Thailand
We arrived in Thailand and once again headed straight for the coast.  This is Ko Muk in the Andaman Sea.
Ko Mukians.
Lori in a rubber plantation.
Rubber comes from trees.
Then this woman dries out the stinky rubber sheets.
Then this woman hangs up our stinky laundry.
Low season in Ko Muk means we can afford beach side cottages with AC and flower pedals on the bed, Wow!
That's our bungalow in the background.
It's hard work crackin' open coconuts.
This, on the other hand, is not such hard work.
