And Intimates that the Slop Man is Suffering From the Effects of Kissing Bug Sting
_________

From Wednesday's Daily,
Len Fat, alias Lum Hing, alias Shorty, the slop man, has brought suit to recover the money he alleges Mrs. Yee Chung has borrowed from him.  The summons was served today, an answer will no doubt be filed by the widow within a few days.  The complaint is couched in the following language:
In the Superior Court of the County of Madera, State of California.
Lun Hing, plaintiff, vs. Mrs. Leong Ah Bow, also commonly known as Mrs. Yee Chung, and also known as Sun Ho, defendant.
The plaintiff complains of defendant and for cause of action alleges:
    1. -- That between the 1st day of May, 1905, and the 1st of April, 1906, plaintiff lent to defendant the aggregate sum of $510.00 in gold coin of the United States of America at defendant's special instance, solicitation and request.
    2. -- That defendant has never paid to plaintiff said sum of $510.00 nor any part thereof.
    3. -- That plaintiff has frequently requested defendant to pay the sum of $510.00, but she has failed, neglected and refused and still fails, neglects and fuses to pay the same or any part thereof.
Wherefore, plaintiff demands judgment against defendant for the sum of $510.00, with interest form the 1st day of April, 1906.

Geo. G. Groucher,
Attorney for plaintiff.
