Our online investment group shall be known as the Economic Blue Print Group (EBP Group) It will be regarded as the first online investment group dedicated to developing businesses of our Nation.
In most ways, our group is no different from living room-based clubs. We will have officers, partnership agreement, bylaws, bank and brokerage accounts, and a progressive objective. Online groups have all the advantages of traditional clubs -- the ability for individuals to each contribute small amounts and still build a sizeable balanced portfolio, while learning about investing as part of a group.
To prevent meeting at a set time each month we may meet 24 hours a day in cyberspace. OLIG is always open for business. Members post messages at any time of the day or night -- convenient since we hope to have members who live all over the world. A ballot maybe posted once a month and we vote by sending our ballots to the group. We send our funds (minimum contribution is just $100) through Paypal, and uses our funds to participate in the Project Objective. The ongoing discussions among group members are really no different than you'd expect from a "face-to-face" meeting. Members talk about projects under consideration, the status of the objective, and new ideas for bringing profit returns to the members.
The most important factors in evaluating the success of our group is the education it provides, and a profitable project objective. For many people, it's impossible to commit to becoming a member of an offline investment group because of time constraints or geographic hurdles. An online group can be a great way to share information and learn about investing -- and to get started on the path to long-term financial freedom, as well!
