Choir Practice mp3s
The amazing note-bashing site

This page links you to free downloadable mp3 practice files of well-known choral works. In most cases, separate
versions are given for each part (soprano, alto, tenor, bass).

Suppose your choir is singing Parry's Blest Pair of Sirens at the next concert, and you're a first tenor. Follow
the link to Blest Pair of Sirens below, double click on the folder to open it, and download
(RIGHT CLICK - DOWNLOAD) the file named 05 tenor 1.mp3.

Now sing along as you play this mp3 file on your computer or mp3 player. Generally the vocal line is picked out on the
piano; the organ sound is the accompaniment, and the other vocal parts make the chorus sound. Enjoy.

Bach, J S: St John Passion

Bernstein: Chichester Psalms

Faure: Cantique de Jean Racine

Mascagni: Easter Hymn

Mozart: Ave verum

Parry: Blest Pair of Sirens
(known to choirs everywhere as 'Best Pair of Nylons')

Purcell: Dido and Aeneas
