Here is the easiest way to defeat Ruby WEAPON. First, have Cloud kill your other two members. Equip Cloud with a Mystile, Ragnerock, and a Ribbon, because all you need for this battle is him. Here is the materia I put on him:

CLOUD: Mastered Final Attack/Mastered Revive; Mastered HP Plus; Master Summon/Mastered MP Turbo; Mastered Mime; KOR (any level)/HP Absorb

Basically, all you have to do is cast KOR, then mime it until he is dead. You will need to use some Elixirs on Cloud occasionally so you can regain MP.

NOTE: The Mystile gives you a large chance of missing his ULTIMA attack.
