| Harry Potter, a young, 11-year-old orphan boy who lives with his evil aunt and uncle, knows nothing about his mysterious past. But all of that's about to change. One day, a strange letter is delivered to Number 4, Private drive, addressed to Harry. Before reading the contents, the letter is ripped from his hands and destroyed by his uncle. About a week after the first letter arrived, Harry finds out what it was about. It was an invatation, an invatation to the best school of witchcraft in the world, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Headmaster is the greatest wizard of time, Professor Albus Dumbledore. With the help of Hagrid (the Hogwarts gamekeeper) Harry getts all of his need school supplies, and on September 1, he leaves for the magical school. Harry meets Ronald Weasley (aka Ron) and the two of them become best friends. Latter on in the school year, Harry makes another friend, Hermione Granger. The three of them start to learn (piece by piece) about the Philosopher's Stone. And they have a suspect of who's trying to steal it. Professor Severus Snape. On Harry's first day at Hogwarts, he believes that the hooked-nosed, sallow-skined, greasy black haired teacher dislikes him for some reason. After the first class of Potions Harry found out how wrong he was. Snape didn't dislike Harry, he loathed him. After a few things happen, the trio are possitive that Snape is trying to steal the stone. Will Harry, Ron, and Hermione be able to stop Snape? Or will Snape get the stone?
