Truffles
Ingredients:-
400 grams Haigh's Dark Chocolate (melted)
150 grams Condensed Milk
75 grams melted butter
75 ml's - Cointreau
Chocolate granules or cocoa for coating
Method:
Add condensed milk and melted butter to mixer bowl and mix on slow speed.
Add melted chocolate and mix.
Add Cointreau and continue to mix.
Pour on to a tray lined with plastic (to a depth of 20mm)
Place in the fridge to set. When set, cut into cubes and then roll into balls, then roll the truffle in the chocolate granules or cocoa.
Allow to set for half an hour in a cool area of the room before placing into the fridge for a further 30 mins. Allow chocolate truffles to regain room temperatue before rolling in the chocolate or cocoa again.
