If your looking for a very rich, indulgent hot chocolate....this is the one for you. It may take a little longer to prepare than normal but I think the results are worth it.
Ingredients:
500ml (2cups) Full cream milk
2 teaspoons of caster sugar
dash vanilla essence
100 grams dark chocolate, chopped...(I use Haigh's)
Thickened cream, whipped for serving
Marshmallows
Method:
Place the milk, sugar, vanilla and chocolate into a medium saucepan over low heat and stir until the chocolate has completely melted and is well combined through the heated milk.
Remove from heat, pour into two mugs and float a spoonful of whipped cream on top. Serve with marshmallows and enjoy!
