Chocolate Pecan Biscuits

 

Ingredients:

125 grams Haigh's dark chocolate (grated or chopped)

125 grams of butter

100 grams brown sugar

1 egg

60 grams pecans (Chopped)

100 grams caster sugar

250 grams SR flour

pinch of salt

dash vanilla essence

Method:

* Cream the butter and both sugars together along with the vanilla essence

* Beat the egg then add to mixture...fold in flour, salt, chocolate and pecans.

* Using an ice-cream scoop...scoop up a portion of batter and pop onto a tray lined with baking paper.....by using the scoop you will have even sized cookies.

* Cook in a pre-heated oven at 180C for 10 - 12 minutes

* When cooked cool on a wire rack until cold
