Chocolate Ganache Glaze

 

 

Ingredients:

150ml thickened cream

30 grams unsalted butter

500 grams dark chocolate, chopped (I use Haigh's)

 

Method:

  1. Place the cream and butter into a saucepan and slowly bring to the boil.

  2. Add the chopped chocolate to the boiling liquid, remove from the heat and stir until all the chocolate has melted and the mixture is thick and smooth.

  3. Pour immediately over your cake.

 

This recipe makes enough to cover one 23cm cake
