Cheeseburger:
Ingredients:
250 grams lean beef mince
1 clove of garlic, crushed
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 onion finely chopped
1 egg yolk
2 bacon rashers, rind removed
1/2 onion sliced
2 bread rolls (halved)
butter for spreading
2 large lettuce leaves
1/2 tomato sliced
2 slices tasty cheese
tomato sauce for serving
Method:
Combine the mince, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, onion and egg yolk. Mix ingredients well.
Divide in half and shape into two patties. Cook the patties, bacon and onion on a char-grill or pan-fry.
When patties are nearly cooked, pop on your cheese slice and cook till cheese has melted.
Toast the rolls and spread with butter (if desired).
Top bases with lettuce, tomato, patty, bacon and onion.
Serve with tomato sauce. (Serves 2).
