In the modern society, multimedia is one of the largest industries in the world. The most well spread media is television-in nowadays, most houses have at least one television. However, this marvelous box has worsen the atmosphere of normal families by isolating each other.
In the time when televisions first spread, there weren��t any serious issue about cutting of family conversations. Since there were only few houses with a television in one town, others had to have permission to watch the television. Because of that system, normal families discussed about the shows that they watched in neighbor��s house. Thus, it wasn��t a serious issue.
However, the television became popularized as time passes. And there were no people waiting on neighbor��s house to watch television shows. Now normal family can watch television any time they want, anything they want. This means during the time the television is turned on, the family members don��t talk except short talks about the show. Because it became easier for any individuals watch televisions any long, the casual conversations in dinner time started to reduce.
I have negative response to this issue. Family is the most comfortable and is the closest relationship of members. However, breaking this by staring at a box? This should not be it. Family should talk and laugh about individual members�� lives of that day in dinner time, not watching at entertainment show and have a joke about it.
Therefore, each family should concern about this isolation problems and try to limit the time for watching television. Also they should have a right aspect on the needs of family conversation. Then, this issue will disappear slowly.
