Eyeshot Remote-Controllable
IEEE 1394 Digital Camera System

Base on common IEEE 1394 Digital Cameras, I invent a new model which users can control its line of sight from a distance. In the past, when the baby ( or cats :> ) crawl outside the field of view of camera, we can only sit at office and pray he / she back to eyesight. Or during a visual net-meeting, won't you want to see more about your friends, except his / her face ?

Now, we can control remote digital camera using something like iPaq through wireless network. Since control signal is also transmitted through IEEE 1394 cable, no other new connection is needed ( except power line for the motor ). Following are some examples:
In the beginning, the camera aim at me. you can see me holding this iPaq.
I rotate the mirror using cross button of iPaq to see what's going on in my left. It seems quite peaceful...

Now I rotate it to my right. HAHA...I see my friend taking a snapshot of me!
(by the way, that is a Nikon D100 :>)
Using this small toy and a iPaq with wireless networking, you can see every direction everywhere everytime.
This is it! you can see it's modified by a common IEEE 1394 Digital Camera.
