Pamela Morgan - Seven Years
It's been 7 years since Pamela Morgan released a CD of new original material, but the dry spell has ended in fine style with the release of her latest CD, appropriately titled "Seven Years". Well written and beautifully crafted, "Seven Years" has been well worth the wait.
End to end, "Seven Years" is the quintessential Pamela Morgan CD. Her sexy vocals and distinctive production style are as unmistakable as they are beautiful. A brilliant mix of modern and traditional influences, from the hauntingly touching title track, to the quirky folk sound of "My Bucket", this CD is a must for every Pamela Morgan fan.
With "Seven Years", Pamela Morgan has proven once again the depth of her talent. A woman of rare and powerful beauty, Pamela has walked a long (sometimes lonely) path, exploring the vast landscape of the Newfoundland music scene, working with some of the finest names in the industry. This album highlights the next logical step in her progression as an artist, a performer and a producer. But beyond the music, there is a soul of such grace and wonder, that the heart could break at the sound of her crying, or soar at the sound of her laughter.
For many years Pamela Morgan has been one of this provinces most respected musicians and artists. "Seven Years" is a perfect example of why.
