Colleen Power - Face And Eye's (2004)

When someone bury's himself in work, with total dedication to their goal, we have a saying in Newfoundland that goes, "He's gone Face and Eye's into it". The title of this album tells it all as Colleen Power's second CD pick's up where her first, "Lucky You Are", left off.

Armed with the experience gained recording her first album, and surrounded by a group of amazing local musicians, Colleen launches into this one with the same limitless energy, passion, and talent that made her first album such a treasure! laced with catchy tunes and powerful vocals, punctuated by honest lyric's, "Face And Eye's" solidifies Colleen as one of Newfoundland's most unique singer songwriters.

One of the highlights of the CD is "Newfoundland Weather", which features a cameo vocal track from legendary Newfoundland TV weatherman Karl Well's. The song itself is a quirky love song, but it get's bonus point's for the brilliant mix of sound effect's, music and the 'local forcast'. Hat's off to Colleen and Don Ennis for producing what will surely prove to be the most unique song, and album of 2005!

Go get Colleen's new CD, and Bury yourself in it... Go face and eye's into "Face And Eye's" and see what I mean! You won't regret it!
