Description: A district attorney�s daughter is kidnapped. We see the kidnapper sneak into her room through a window and walk up to her bed where the girl is asleep. The camera is a nice close shot from her shoulders up, and we see the man soak an orange rag by her head with chloroform, then set the bottle down before shoving the rag over her face with his left hand while holding her head down with his right. The girl wakes up and immediately begins struggling and whimpering, but she passes out after about eleven seconds, the rag is removed and we see her slumbering face for a brief second before the scene dissolves out. We later see the girl coming to in the back of a van.

One of her clients shows up at her door, telling her it�s a life or death emergency. Reluctantly, she lets him come in. After he enters, his demeanor suddenly changes as he becomes cheerful. He hands her the Mylar mirror he was holding so her hands will be occupied. Then, he asks her if she knows what �mago� means in Italian. She doesn�t, so he tells her, �Magician,� and he produces a red handkerchief from a sleeve. She is puzzled, and gives a little, �huh,� as she spritzes a liquid into the handkerchief and suddenly holds it over her face. The handkerchief and her hands obscure her face, but she mmmphs nicely, and passes out after about five seconds, after which, the handkerchief is removed and her limp hand falls down her face in a little caress. He then scoops her up in a cradle carry and exits. When next we see her, she�s gagged and blindfolded and being tied to a chair, giving a couple soft whimpers, as if still dazed.

He suddenly yanks her hair back with his right hand and holds a cloth over her face with his left. She passes out very quickly, after only about a second, but he holds the cloth in place as he lowers her back down on the bed for an additional four seconds. A short but nice scene.

Description: Several women are claiming to be Carla Wilks, the daughter of a deceased scientist, in an effort to scam a secret formula away from Danny and Brett. When the real Carla Wilks (Nicola Pagett) shows up, the bad guys have to act quickly to dispose of her. Just as she�s about to climb the stairs, she is approached by a pair of men. One of the men calls out, �Miss,� and she turns around only to see him pull out of his pocket a bottle of chloroform and a cloth. Carla is quickly pinned against a wall and handgagged by the other man, her screams of �No� muffled while the other man soaks a white cloth. Her eyes open wide as she sees the man soaking the cloth, but she is powerless to do anything about it. The cloth is held by the second man under her nose while the first man continues to handgag her. The camera zooms in to a very tight shot of her face as her beautiful blue eyes begin to glaze over. Cut as Danny comes bounding down the stairs to save her. He leaps on the man holding the cloth and swings him aside. The man holding Carla turns and is also fought off by Danny. Meanwhile, Carla slides down the wall and onto the steps. The two assailants flee and as Danny chases after them there�s a shot of Carla, mouth open, slumbering upon the steps, and she emits a beautiful little �uh�, and we see the white chloroform-soaked cloth resting on the step just below her face, about a foot away. Danny comes back in and helps Carla to sit up. He asks her, �Are you all right,� but she is clearly still drugged, her eyes can barely flutter open as she replies in slurred speech, �Ye�yes, I think so.� He asks her what her name is and she replies, �My name is Carla, Car�Ca�Carla Willl�� but she is unable to finish her sentence as she passes out again and Danny quips, �Isn�t everybody.� A brief recovery scene follows, she�s asked how she�s feeling and she says, �Oh, I�ll be all right, I�m just a bit groggy.�

Description: Ah, my second favorite (to Emma Peel, of course) of the female crime fighters featured on British television in the late sixties and early seventies, the Contessa Caroline di Contini (Nyree Dawn Porter), with her long, flowing auburn locks, aristocratic, slightly adunc nose, beautiful bosom and arrogant, imperious air, is kidnapped in this episode by an insane escaped prisoner seeking revenge � it was the Contessa�s testimony that put him behind bars. The scene has an great build up, the scene is only so-so, but there is also a great wake-up. I don�t have time right now to do justice to this scene, but I�ll go into more detail soon.

Description: A satanic sorority must sacrifice a virgin each year. Pretty Dana (Heather Bertram), the daughter of the hero of the show, is investigating Nancy-Drew-like when she is chloroformed from behind by one of her sorority sisters. She is first startled by seeing an evil devil woman, gasping as she backs away, only to back right into a girl who clamps a cloth over her mouth. We see the scene for a couple seconds before we cut back to the devil woman, then cut back just to see Dana allowed to drop to the floor unconscious and out of camera view. We next see her tied down on an altar, her bare feet tied together and her arms tied over her head. Turns out she�s not a virgin, though, so when her dad comes looking for her, he finds her still alive, but she�s been rendered unconscious again (off-screen). He sees her lying on the altar and wakes her up.
