She slips the cloth perfectly over Vicky�s mouth, she mmmffs very nicely, then, after about nine seconds, her eyes close slowly, her arms drop, and Marley lets her sister slump unconscious onto the floor. At the end, Marley says, �Sweet dreams, Victoria.� She is later carried off by Marley and her accomplice, Cindy. On the next episode, when Vicky comes to Marley asks her if she is okay and Vicky says, �Oh, God. I�m so dizzy. I�m so dizzy, I feel like I�m going to barf, but other than that�� Later, after Vicky asks again, �Why am I so dizzy?� Marley replies, �Oh, that�s going to wear off. That�s going to wear off in just a little while. It�s the effects of the chloroform.� Vicky says, �Chloroform? What are you talking about?� Marley replies, �Chloroform. You know, you pour it on a handkerchief and you put it over somebody�s mouth, in this case, yours, and then, here you are.�

Description: Kind of a Venezuelan version of the Joanna Going scene from Columbo. The soap�s leading lady (Diaz), dressed for bed in a pink low-cut chemise enters a dark room while we hear her husband humming the �Ode to Joy� in the shower. She slips off her robe and is just setting it down when a masked and gloved man chloroforms her from behind and she reaches back, pawing at his arms. After two seconds, there is a cut to a bad angle from behind the assailant, completely blocking our view of her for a bit, until he moves a bit and we can see her still struggling but can�t see her face. Four seconds later, we finally cut back to a good front view from her waist up as her arms fall limply to her side and the man reaches around her waist with his left arm to hold her up. The cloth is removed, and as he reaches into his pocket, her unconscious body slumps forward and is cradled by his arm around her waist. Cut back to the long shot from behind, and we see her entire limp form being held up over his arm, a really beautiful shot of her arms and hair flopping about as he reaches into his pocket to pull out his ransom note, moves her over his shoulder, places the note on the bed and exits. The entire chloroform scene lasts ten seconds.

Description: SCENE ONE: Trisha (Noelle Beck) is at the rear doors of an open van asking a woman what�s taking so long. The woman in the van tells her she can�t find her flashlight. In reality, she is soaking a white rag with chloroform. As she begins approaching the unsuspecting girl, she suddenly blurts out, pointing with her left finger while holding the rag behind her back in her right hand, �Oh my God, what�s that!?!� The girl turns, confused, saying,�Whadda you, where?� when she�s grabbed from behind, rag in place. She moans nicely as the chloroformer shhs her and tells her �Quiet.� She passes out after six seconds, and the rag is removed revealing her open mouth, and she�s lay backwards and dragged into the van. The woman then gets out of the van and scoops the unconscious girl�s legs in, then climbs in herself, shutting the doors.
SCENE TWO: Trisha is sitting up in the van with her hands tied, and there�s a very thin piece of semi-transparent tape over her mouth. The woman who chloroformed her tells her, �You�re wearing yourself out, as a matter of fact, I think it�s time for a little nap.� The woman gets the bottle of chloroform and begins soaking a rag, as poor Trisha gives a little whimper and shakes her head �no,� afraid. The woman tells her, �Relax, you heard your boyfriend. No one�s going to hurt you, you�re just going to sleep, and when you wake up, you�re going to be safe and sound in your own bed.� The cloth is placed over Trisha�s face, and she passes out almost instantly. The villainess then sings the first verse of �Rock-a-bye baby, on the treetop,� as the poor girl�s head slumps forward. The actual chloroform scene isn�t very good, but the set up and sleepy talk is first rate.

Description: My favorite of all Telenovela actresses gets chloroformed here, but the scene is only so-so (if only she would be chloroformed on Gitanas). Ana de la Reguera plays Luciana, and she�s walking down the street in blue jeans and green shirt, when we see a man stalking her, crouching down behind a car with cloth in his hand. He then runs up to her and puts the cloth over her face, chloroforming her and pulling her toward the car at the same time. She passes out after about six seconds, but the cloth is entirely too large and obscures her beautiful eyes, and then there�s a bad cut to a man witnessing the crime and running after the kidnappers as the car drives off.

Description: The title character, a masked woman in long flowing, white robes and a white hood stained with blood, chloroformed a number of ladies (and men) over a two month period, almost all of whom wound up murdered in increasingly elaborate fashions.
Her first victim was this pretty little blonde who the Mujer de Judas had been terrorizing for weeks. The young girl, wearing a blue patterned blouse and knee-length dark skirt, was wandering the cellars with a number of her friends when the Mujer de Judas appeared behind her with a gun. She scared off the girl�s friends with the gun, firing a few shots at them, and then dragged the poor girl further into the cellars in a sleeper hold, the girl gasping for air. After setting her gun down, the Mujer de Judas reached down for something, and there�s a cut to her hand grabbing a metallic bottle with a rag stuffed a bit into it. We see her take the rag out of the bottle, soak it some more while still choking her victim, who begins coughing, and then hold the rag over the girl�s nose and mouth. The girl�s eyes shut hard as she�s leaned backwards by the much taller attacker. After seven seconds, we cut away from the shot from the head up of the girl being chloroformed to a long front shot that shows her entire body from her feet up. After a couple more seconds, the cloth is removed and we then cut back to the close up and see the girl�s slumbering face, the Mujer de Judas still holding her up, balanced against the arm around her neck, but no longer applying pressure, as the villainess closes up her bottle of chloroform. The Mujer de Judas moves her arms under the arms of the slumbering girl from behind and begins to walk backwards, dragging her away, and we cut to the long shot of the girl�s full body as she�s dragged away. When next we see her, Concetto is still asleep, with her arms tied up over her head and a piece of silver tape over her mouth. The Mujer de Judas shakes her face a bit to revive the girl, and then proceeds to cut her blouse and skirts into shreds with a pair of scissors. The best thing about the scene is the way the girl is pleading and protesting throughout the chloroforming; the worst thing is that her eyes aren�t visible while she�s being put out.

Description: The pretty young lead actress of this soap, wearing a pink tank top and black pants, storms into her room after an argument, locking the door. Distressed, she doesn�t notice the Mujer de Judas walking up to her from behind. There�s a cut to another scene and when we cut back, we see the Mujer de Judas behind the girl, raising up a white cloth. The heroine turns her head and the cloth is placed over her nose and mouth in a close up from the shoulders up. The Mujer de Judas holds the cloth over the girl�s face with her right hand while placing her left arm around her neck and onto the girl�s chest. The girl puts her hands up onto the chloroformer�s arms and begins to struggle to break free, wrenching back and forth in the attacker�s grip, sometimes moving her face out of view. After four seconds, there�s a cut to a bad long shot from her knees up, her face being covered up by the chloroformer�s hands and her own as she continues to struggle.
By now, nine seconds have elapsed in the scene, when there is a very bad cut to her boyfriend outside her locked door, asking the girl to open it. There�s a cut back into the room where the girl is still being chloroformed, we see her kick weakly toward the door, but she�s about ten feet from it. Another two seconds pass, and then we cut back to the boyfriend, knocking on the door and still asking her to open it. This cutaway to the boyfriend lasts over ten seconds, and at the end of it, he has a puzzled look on his face, and we see him sniffing at the door, obviously smelling the chloroform permeating out from the room. He asks her what she�s doing.
When we finally cut back to the chloroform scene, the camera is back at a nice shot from the chest up, the girl�s eyes are closed, but her arms are still up on her top of her attacker�s arms and she is still swaying and struggling. After three more seconds, the Mujer de Judas releases the girl, pulling the cloth away to reveal the girl�s mouth open. The girl is allowed to fall forward onto her knees, her upper body falling against a bed, but she�s still conscious, she crawls quickly to a nightstand and pushes a lamp over, turning back to look toward her attacker, tears in her eyes as she cries out weakly for her boyfriend. We get a point of view shot from the girl, an image of her attacker all blurry.
We cut back to the locked door and boyfriend as two of the heroine�s best girl friends approach. They knock on the door, and they also smell the chloroform, sniffing at the door. One asks what is that smell, and the boyfriend says, I know, right, like acetone. The boyfriend leaves and the two friends prepare to open the locked door with a credit card. We cut back inside and see the heroine, almost unconscious, on her knees with her chin and arms on the bed as the Mujer de Judas is coming up from behind, cloth still at the ready. Just then, the two girl friends come into the room and the Mujer de Judas flees. They find the heroine just as she slumps off the bed unconscious and one of the girls cradles her head in their lap as they both caress her and ask her what is wrong. Later, they lift her onto the bed where she eventually wakes up.

Description: This raven-haired, thirty-something-year-old vixen in glasses was terrorized by the Mujer de Judas over a week and a half. In her first scene, she�s dressed in a man�s vest, shirt and tie, slacks and lab coat when she�s grabbed from behind by a gloved assailant who holds a knife to her throat. She manages to grab the knife away from the assailant, but the force of wrenching it away threw her forward and into a table where she rams her stomach into some machine. She keels over, holding onto her stomach, as her attacker, clad in black coveralls, pulls a white cloth out of a pocket while approaching the woman. The assailant grabs Kiara from behind, forcing the white cloth over her nose and mouth. We cut from a shot behind the girl to a close up from the chest up, but the cloth is too large, covering her entire face. She�s wrenched backwards and tries elbowing her attacker several times but she can�t break free. After six seconds, her struggles cease and she�s allowed to fall to the floor, the attacker�s hand knocking the woman�s glasses off. There�s a nice close up of the unconscious woman on the floor, her mouth slightly open, the attacker leaves a note on her desk, and we cut back to the woman unconscious on the floor. She wakes up coughing and holding onto her chest.

Description: In her second scene, she�s wearing a pink blouse and black pants, pacing about a storage room. She peeks around a wall, then turns back into the room only to come face to face with the Mujer de Judas who promptly grabs her around from behind with her right hand while holding a white cloth over her face with the left. The woman is pulled back into the storage room, flailing her arms about wildly. There�s a cut after five seconds to another scene. When we cut back, the woman is clearly unconscious and the cloth is just being removed from her face to reveal her mouth agape. She is then lowered onto the floor. The Mujer de Judas picks up one of the unconscious woman�s limp hands and placed a small bad in it. She then departs, with several shots of the slumbering woman�s face. Later, her boyfriend finds her, checks her pulse, removes her glasses and pats her cheek to revive her.

Description: In her final scene, still wearing the pink blouse and black pants, Kiara is nervously fidgeting about in the living room, waiting for her boyfriend to come back as we see the Mujer de Judas approaching from behind with a folded white towel in her hand. As the woman is grabbed from behind, the scene goes to a slight slow motion with camera positioned from her waist up. After seven seconds, the scene dissolves to a shot from a slightly different angle from her knees up as she continues to struggle, the towel now covering her entire face, though. After another six seconds, the scene dissolves again to a slightly different angle, as her arms suddenly stop thrusting against her attacker, pausing in the air then falling as the woman is allowed to fall to the floor, her neck snapping back as she falls, mouth wide open. She slumps to a couch, then the floor, we see a quick blurry point of view shot, and then see her convulse on the floor for a second before passing out. We then see the Mujer de Judas approaching the slumbering woman with a syringe in her hand and as she bends over her, there�s a very nice, tight close up of the unconscious woman�s face. We see that the Mujer de Judas has an assistant that is similarly dressed, and they lift the unconscious woman onto the couch, begin to tie her limp hands together, gag her and then carry her off, one of them grabbing under her arms and the other picking up her legs under the knees. She comes to being sealed behind a brick wall.

Description: She is asleep in bed as two men approach her, one holding a blue bandanna. She wakes up just as the cloth is being put in place. The man chloroforming her holds the cloth in place with his right hand and the back of her head with his left while his buddy holds onto her arms. There is a cut to a close up of her face as her eyes glaze over and shut. The cloth is removed and the men pick up and let her limp arms fall a couple of times to make sure she is out. Scene lasts about twelve seconds. Then, the main villain walks in and looks at his sleeping damsel. He pulls the cover off her, and slips up the leg of her pajamas to reveal one of her knees, which he starts to stroke. He is eventually interrupted by one of the good guys, who he bashes over the head from behind before escaping.

She tries to pull his arm away for about ten seconds, but then her struggles cease as the drug begins to take effect and her eyes grow heavy and begin to flutter a bit. The assailant begins whispering into her ear as she begins to pass out. Finally, her eyes close and the cloth is removed revealing her mouth agape. She is then lowered to the floor on her back. Chloroform scene lasts nineteen seconds.

Description: Wearing a red and pink striped shirt, long skirt, and dark red coat, she is chloroformed and kidnapped from a clothing shop. She is distracted, getting out her checkbook and writing a check. Behind her, a man pulls out a cloth from one pocket, a bottle from another, and pours the liquid on the cloth. The scene is all shown from one camera placed from a slight angle showing the waist up. The cloth is about a 5 x 3 inch rectangle, and he holds it rather loosely as he places it over her face from behind with his right hand. Her vocal performance is quite good, mostly muffled screams and one, �No!� when the cloth is first placed. He pins her left arm to her body at first with his left arm as his female accomplice comes up to them and begins to gather up the chloroformed woman�s belongings. The cloth obscures her eyes more than what would be ideal, but we do get some glimpses of some good eye rolls. What�s also very good about this scene is the way her left hand goes limp as she passes out, because it�s still kind of held up by his left arm, and I like the way her hand flops around after she passes out. Cloth is removed after fourteen seconds and we get a beautiful shot of her mouth agape. The female accomplice has by now placed the slumbering damsels left arm over her shoulders, the man puts the victim�s right arm over his shoulders, and the two begin to walk the girl out of the room. One of the best things about the scene is the dialogue spoken by the female accomplice, she says, �Take it easy, Mrs. Sentell. Relax and let the chloroform do its work. That�s it, just relax. Now, that wasn�t too bad, was it?� Then, the man says, �All right, she�s out, let�s go.�

Description: A plot by two servants to kidnap a woman and replace her with an impostor is in jeopardy now that that woman�s maid has shown up. No problem, the villains will just have to get rid of the pesky maid, too. In the kitchen, the female villain chats with the maid while a man, with his back to them, pours chloroform into a dust mask. He then makes his way around the maid�s back. The maid, who has been rambling on about her former employer, suddenly pauses, a puzzled look on her face, she sniffs, then asks, �Do you smell something, smell like�� but then the mask is held over her face, cutting her off. She gives a number of growls of protest, and bats away at the man�s hand with both of her hands, but after five seconds, her hands fall and her head leans back, and there�s a cut from the front close up to a side view as she is lowered back onto the floor, mask still held in place. The man looks up and says, �One down, one to go.� There�s then a cut to the female accomplice, who waves her hand in front of her face as if to waft away the smell of the chloroform. We then cut back to the slumbering maid on the floor, mask still being held over her face. The only real problem with this scene is we don�t see the mask removed, but still, very nice scene.
