Time ticks away and every second that goes by
I can't stop wondering if it's all just a lie
If it's a dream, a theme, or a movie scene
Frustration rips me apart at every damn seam
I sit and stare at the bloody ring
Wondering why I do such senseless things
Salt in the wound to keep me awake
But pain could never tell me what's true and what's fake
