The Nation Lies Awake
I sit before a computer, surrounded by a lab full of fellow students, too shocked to cry, yet unbelievably close to tears. Despite my nature, I find myself brought to such a level by the bombings and suicide attacks on our nation's capital city and one of the main economic pillars of the world. In a cold and calculated strike, well planned, the World Trade Center, full of over 50,000 civilian men, women, and children, was utterly destroyed.
We are uncertain as to the identity and location of the terrorists who performed this heinous act.
