Day I 28.06.02 1:30am, I received the sms...that contained the important information..that made me excited..that we have been waiting for.. Ever since we got the news about baroque coming to singapore, we have been planning what we should do...shall we give them presents n etc etc..now, we are gonna fufil what we planned for we got the confirmation to Baroque's arrival time to Singapore. The "welcoming party" consisted of abt 5pple - kumoyume, rimei, eiji, cat n myself. The another joined us..cos we met him at the airport n he is Kuek. At arnd evening, 4:30pm, we reached Changi Airport. Down there we were in a small fluster, wondering if we missed picking Baroque up..after checking the gates n so on, we proceeded to Belt17/18..keeping close eye on the every passengers coming out.-no sight of baroque- Then as i was scouting, i saw 2guys standing at a small distance away from us. But one had the "Asian Youth n Music Festival " flyer with him!!!I immediately informed the others. And the other guy who was wearing the "Crown-line Group" tshirt seem to have spotted us...esp rimei n i was wearing baroque tshirt...then the guy taking the flyer turned arnd to look at us.Then i exclaimed" Eh?! Reona!" it was Dj Reona! *laughs* n we started chatting...as if we were long time friend...hahaha....but we arent..he's too friendly? bleh... Just then...we waited together...for Baroque's arrival...then eiji started albowing me n said " Eh...is that one of us?" i was pretty puzzled n turn back to find Kuek standing beside Dj Reona. What caught eiji's eyes that made her think kuek was one of us was most probably because he was wearing a Glay tshirt! Jrock fan indeed *giggles* As Kuek worked at the airport, he volunteered to go in to the customs area to "spy" hehe...n i passed him my camera...gosh..we had hard time exchanging hp.no n words... On the other hand, while kuek was "spying", i went to pick up some "inside-infos" abt Baroque's schedule in spore. Should have seen Dj Reona's face when i asked " Can u help to ask if u could hug them?" *lol* Overall, i got to know their rough schedule n where they stay so on...(aint gonna disclose it here..keke) We waited n waited....heard customs had long Q...so it took them longer time...n also, heard that Kei kept blinking his eyes n pulling his hair...a habit?! *shrugs* Since i had nothing to do, all i can do is to stare n look arnd...that was when i was staring at this row of luggages...i thought it must have belonged to some tour groups n little did i expect it was actually Baroque's! (i was shocked when kei went there n took his lovely colored luggage) Yes! Baroque finally came out to pick their luggages! They were with Spinnerbait. After they checked their luggages, gathered a while, think they saw us...heh...n they came out...(sad sad...i waved they didnt wave..) Dj Reona called out to Bansaku (the leader) n explained some matters to him.Guess they were tired.Like Ryou, Kei, Akira, they went to the side to sit down, Yuuji, their manager wad "guarding" the luggages...oh yesh...we were sure close to them...n i kept looking....also had to tend to what Reona was saying...haha..we need him to help do translations... We had prepared presents for Baroque (5 tshirts...those tourist shirts..u noe...haha) n i hand it over to Akira. When Akira took over he smiled n nodded his head n so did i n we did that a few times (amusing isnt it..haha),kept nodding. Reona helped asked if we could take a grp pic of them or if we could take a pic with them but they said that they were tired n didnt want to stay together n take pics.But we could just take pics liddat..(a little regret i didnt approach the individual membs to take pic) Time's up n its time to leave Changi Airport! -cont'd next page- |
