On the chemo front, Platelets are back up - chemo starts back up on MONDAY after being delayed for 1 week. The low platelets that I had might be something that returns with the next 2 treatments ...... it's probably just my body's reaction to this particular medication.
I have to check to see if we can do the last one on June 20 as planned - I'd really like to keep the END DATE as we originally had it planned....we'll see.
Only major side effects continue to be a slight loss of appetite and Massive Fatigue. I've just been so very exhausted every day. I continue to take 3 hour naps every day - after sleeping until about 10am each morning. I'm just bone weary everyday.
On the hair front, it ALL fell out.......BUMMER. Guess I'll start all over with the growing process. I've been told ..."Look at it this way.....maybe God decided that he didn't want you to have black hair after all - so this is his way of starting over. Maybe it will be a different color when it comes back the 2nd (and final) time !" Too Funny!
My bones are slowly healing....hope to have the hand out of the cast in 2 weeks - He will re-Xray at that time and let me know if we can at least move into a "less aggrivating" splint of some kind. I'm really tired of this hand thing. I'm doing Physical Therapy for my back, and it has improved alot - although we're not finished, I can feel improvement!
