Star-cross'd lovers
were caught right in between
an infamous feud
between a family and another.
Their love forbidden-
not by war nor of age
but by the proof of their being
that flowed through their veins.
Yet they held heaven in between
their palms and lips
that locked and sealed
the sacred vow.
