The quality of a rug is measured by RAJ. RAJ is defined as the number of knots per 6.5cm(2.75 inches). E.g. a 70 RAJ rug is a very fine and expensive one while a 30 RAJ rug is rough and inexpensive. RAJ could be thought of as the resolution of the rug design.
