The One and Two design is
inspired by designs which feature on ikat, or weaving, which is
handcrafted by the Dayaks of Borneo.
The primitive images represented on many household
objects relate to an early belief in animism and provide a link to ancestors
and to other worlds.
The prominent head is particularly important as
this was considered to be the centre of power.
