Our kennel is situated on many acres of land in the small town of Lyn, Ontario Canada.
Chitaqua Perm. registered Rottweiler kennel
was established over 15 years ago.
It all began when I bought my first Rottie (non-purebred).
From then on we knew in our hearts that showing and breeding had generated a major interest in us.
I started my doggie career with "trialing" in Obedience then on to handling. Our dog Chelsa and I had tons of fun!
From that experience, the rest became history.
Moving onto conformation and breeding with keeping in the stride of what the working Rott should be in body and soul.
Traveling from show to show became an adventure as well.
It gave us the opportunity to meet many people with the same interests in Rottweilers and of course, other breeds.
My daughter Rhianhnon, at the time was just a "little" girl and showed interest in junior handling . Her first big win (jumping in with both feet), came with the joys of handling her favorite dog "Kitty" winning Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex. She could barely see over the top line of this dog to stack it !
To date, Rhianhnon handles many breeds to their championship while MOM (me) takes the occasional break from handling assignments, to care for my 4 month old son Cade (our promising future handler).

I also handled a unique Mastiff named Rennie for my friend Craig and this venture made history as well.
"Show fever" runs rampant in our veins.
I still have the same beliefs for my beloved breed, "A healthy dog with a healthy mind" whether it's my Rotties, Craig's Mastiffs, or our fun dogs, the Aussie Cattle hustlers.
Our main objective in our breeding program is to maintain
the conformation and temperament of
this magnificient breed.
