Yule is the darkest night of the year and therefore a celebration of the return of light to the world. The God is symbolically reborn this night and brings with Him the promise of light and easier days ahead. Yule is a time to be with family and friends and to show them how much you care. Often Yule is celebrated with special candles or a Yule log in the fire. Certainly, Yule is the fulfillment of the promise that the God will ever return to guard His earth and provide for His people!
