The Moon...one of the fondest patron symbols of the Mother and one of the most important to Magick. Go outside barefoot on the night of the full moon. Be in awe as you stand and feel the  firm earth under your feet and gaze up at the beauty above you. Feel the flow of energy from above and below. Let this wave wash over you as you draw in the power. This is the true grace and power of the Mother. Learn the moon and its' cycles and you are well on the way to success in magick and joy in life!

The Waxing Moon...is a time for increases; a time for bringing things to you. For spells of  positive magick and for life in general, this part of the moons journey can be uplifting and enriching.

The Full Moon...is a joyous time for seeking your hearts desire. Rituals done or spells cast during the time of the full moon have extra energy that can be directed toward your goal. The energy of the full moon can be used for manifesting or banishing as it is the moment of perfect zenith on the celestial journey of this heavenly body.

The Waning Moon...is a time of lessening; a time for closing doors in your life. During the energy of the waning moon, enact rituals and spells for decreases and the removal of obstacles.

The New Moon...is a time for dark magick and banishing. Use the energy of the dark of the moon to be rid of things and for protective hexes. Dark energy is very  powerful and can be potentially damaging! Use it only in benevolent ways.

The Moon Void of Course...do no magick now! This is a time for rest and meditation. "Void of course" is a time when the moon seems to be moving backward through the constellations. This is a condition which can last for as little as a few minutes to as much as a day or two thus making your chances of accidentally encountering it slim. The ancients probably never knew of this. As a modern witch, if you follow astrology, you can easily find out these times and avoid them.
