Dana

Dana (pronounced Thayna) is the supreme Mother Goddess of Ireland. She is the Goddess of rivers, streams and wells. Though She has many associations with water, She is also a Goddess of fire. Dana is very helpful in "manifesting" anything that you desire. It is from Her that comes the name Tuatha de Danann...the children of Dana. Though my personal associations are mainly Egyptian, I find a strange and very strong draw towards Dana. I go often to the river and can feel Her presence there. She comes to me softly, but ever forceful, and She has helped me with the most difficult of life's problems.
