The worship of Bast has endured for almost 5000 years and has extended to many parts of the world. She is the fair Lady of the East. Her presence is felt in the warm healing rays of the rising sun. Her love can be felt in the reflected light of the full Moon. She is the Goddess of protection and Goddess of the languid pleasures of hearth and home. Bast is a kind and loving aspect of the Great Mother and a comfort in the trials of life. 

As assuredly as Bast is all of these things, She is many more as well. As Protector, She is ruthless and will stop at nothing to guard Her children. To punish the guilty, She will cross time itself to invoke the laws of karma. When enraged, She is a blood thirsty destroyer who cannot be stopped. Do not fear, for Bast will not act unjustly or without provocation or cause. 

Seek the counsel of Bast in matters of intellect, intuition, love, sex, and even new beginnings. Let her bring light and healing into your life!

Seek the protection of Bast in the image of a great black panther. Visualize Her standing guard beside your door or walking with you down the darkest alleys of your life!
