Reincarnation

All thing are born and must die so that others may live. That is the circle of life. Upon death, all things enter the Darkness of the Afterlife. Within this Darkness, begins our search for the "Light" that is the afterlife and communion with the Gods.

This Light has been called The Afterlife, Heaven, Summerland, Nirvana, Valhalla, The Elysian Fields and many more names. It is the thing and the place for which all souls ultimately strive.

As the soul wanders through the Darkness, it will have to face the "demons" of the life just past. Anything and everything will have to be answered for. This is the basis for the phrase, "You've got to go through Hell before you get to Heaven".

Souls with much to answer for will spend far more time searching for the Light than will souls who have lived a purer life. But, by this token, all souls may at some point in eternity reach the Light. The soul must first come to terms with all the bad things that it has done. Until this is accomplished, it will wander in the Darkness. I think that it is, in a way, up to the soul itself.

Though I use the word "demons", I do not believe that there will be "hell creatures" to fight with. It is more likely to me that these will be something more like energy barriers. I also quite accept the fact that one may well find a version of what one expects to find, both in the Darkness and in the Light.

Once the light is reached and you cross into the afterlife, you will be greeted by family and friends. You will rest and reflect upon the life just lived. You will meet with the Gods and with other teachers to discuss the lessons learned or not learned in the previous life. These mentors will help you decide when or how to reincarnate into your next life.

Soul clusters or "family groups" may well reincarnate together or within close proximity. This is why strangers or new friends may seem so familiar sometimes. The reason we don't remember past lives totally or sometimes at all, is so we will achieve true learning and greater growth and not be distracted by past failures or successes.

When a soul has learned all the lessons that are due, it will achieve a true and total communion with the Gods which is not available to souls that have not completed their learning and evolution. The Soul then may become a teacher or spirit guide to others not yet as evolved. Many possibilities that we can't even imagine will exist!
