Creation

In the beginning, there was only a nameless, indefinable Spirit....

I say nameless and indefinable, because in order for a "thing" to be identified, qualified and quantified, there must exist other things, or a polar opposite, for it to be compared to. In the beginning, this was not the case! The Creator was essentially a female spirit to begin with, but with out a polar opposite, She could not be identified as "Female".

As the Creator began to feel loneliness, the passage of time began. The Creator then separated apart like aspects of It's form into separate entities. Thus, the "One" became the "Two"; Male and Female, God and Goddess, still unified as one, but now in two separate and identifiable parts.

Both God and Goddess are equally important. They are equal halves of the one Creator. They are not jealous of each other for to worship one is to worship the other. The Goddess, remaining the primary aspect, then together with the God created the universe and everything in it.

Mankind was created in the image of the Creator as "male" and "female". Again, both equally important and essential to further "creation".

All the thousands of Goddesses the world over are aspects of the One Goddess, as the thousands of Gods are aspects of the one God. To worship any one or more of them is to worship the Essence that is the true Creator of everything.
