* What is NetBoard?

NetBoard is a small Java Application that allows two persons to draw on the same blackboard in real time, accross the Internet.


* How can I launch NetBoard?

NetBoard is not a Java Applet. It will not launch from a web browser. You need a Java 1.1 interpreter to run it. Under Windose98 and NT you can use the BAT file provided.


* I can't connect! I am behind a firewall

NetBoard uses port 4444 to communicate. Ask your system administrator.



Installing and Launching
-------------------------------------

      1. Download the NetBoard distribution package.
      2. Extract all files from the package into a temporary directory
         using your favorite Zip archiver.
      3. Launch NETBOARD.JAR as a java Application
      4. Select 'host' or 'join' from the File menu
