The hotel is situated on the lake front on (Inner) Lake Shore Drive, between Ontario St. to the south and Erie St. to the north. Ontario is one way going west (away form the hotel) and Erie is one way going east. If driving, the best approach to the hotel is Ohio St., one block south of the hotel, a one way street going east. It is also a major exit from the expressway.
If coming from the NORTH ( Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc.)
Take I 94 to Chicago (becomes Edens Expy)
Or, take I 90 to Chicago (becomes Kennedy Expy)
In Chicago, they will join up, and become I 90/94

Take I 88 to I 290 (Eisenhower Expy) toward downtown Chicago.
Nearing downtown, the left lane signs will say for Chicago Loop, I 90/94
(Kennedy Expy) going north. Once on I 90/94 stay on the right.
Very soon you will exit on
Ohio Street.
Take Ohio Street (one way going east) all the way until it ends at

If you are not a guest, you can still park in the garage, but the hourly rates are quite high. There are other garages in the area, as well as metered street parking for 2 hours, one quarter for every 15 minutes.
