An emulator is required to run any rom...or iso in the case of playstation games. Each system probably has its corresponding emulator by now except at least playstation 2 which is still in the works. The ones responsible for that emulator is the PCSX crew but i admit that even if it's the only working PS2 emulator around, it's still not powerful and compatible enough to run games so just watch out for more updates. There are so much emulators for each system but pL!pcute has made your decision-makings much more easier for you. In reality, a playstation 2 system can play any playstation game but definitely not the other way around, just like in the gameboy/gameboy color and gameboy advance scenario. Now I'm not so sure if the Pcsx crew can come up with a finished blockbuster product that can load playstation cd's or isos too...click away!...(--,)
