WHY PUT A DAMPER ON IT?
What though I write by a four watt light
What though I don't slave for a livelyhood
What though I sometimes strive for a little recognition,
like some one saying tenderly to me
over a well balanced meal,
"You are not just another cog
in a dusty old wheel."
Since Sol is much too far away
for us to abuse it
why don't they just tell us
to go ahead and use it?
But when the election returns are counted
and turned in,
let me be slow to condemn.
