| The Barn and Silo at Chippewa City Farm. View of the Barn before 1927 when Alfred Emerson purchased the Farm from Michael H. Meagher. It was here between the Concrete silos that Alfred's great Guernsey bull, Sir-Inker-Walker-Star, later trapped and gored Ervin Emerson severely in the chest with his horns. The wounds left Ervin in the hospital for many weeks and it took him over four months to recover. |
