Above right, program page 2: "The erecting of this beautiful theatre for Midland and all West Texas is an expression of confidence by one whose greatest achievements are measured by the benefits of those around him -- whose richest endowments are the blessings of his fellow man, the development and building of his community and the mutual sharing of the resultant pleasure and privileges of such triumphs in our great Commonwealth. Mr. T. S. Hogan has brought his glorious edifice of entertainment with its charming splendor and joyous comforts to you, anticipating with pride the pleasure and happiness it would lend the community, the visitors and the throngs traveling the great highways stretching across our country who will carry the message of wonderment to far off places extolling the progress and development of a community rich in civic ideals and bountiful resources. In keeping with the high ideals of its builder, the Yucca will be operated with due regard to the finest arts of entertainment. We will keep faith with the trust placed in us. To you, our patrons -- our friends and the entire public, we promise an administration of equitable standards, supplemented by high ideals and a sincere regard for the social fabric and civic pride of our city and country. Our policy will be to furnish the very highest type of entertainment, unexcelled comforts, every courtesy humanly possible and a genuine spirit of appreciation. Our most earnest desire is to please you; to that end nothing will be left undone that is within our power to do. In giving you the finest theatre in all West Texas -- one of the finest in the entire South, manned by a personnel of efficiency and courtesy, offering the finest entertainment available for any theatre, we anticipate a response of favor from those we are so earnestly endeavoring to serve." -- JOHN S. BONNER, Directing Manager. This Program was Designed and Printed by The Art Printery of Midland, Texas.
