  • 4-25-03 About the middle of the night fic. This is by far my fav, so far. I loved the whole thing. I loved the idea of him going to her after a bad day and just wanting to be with her. I loved the little kisses and the banter. I loved him just assuming he was going to spend the day with her and have dinner. I loved Josh learning the banter from Noah and him. This is a great story line and I love all the bantar, making Margaret blush, and seeing Leo outside the office. I have one suggestion for some improvement. In some of the romantic "speeches" you have Leo saying it seems to come a little out of character. I can see him saying that stuff every once and awhile, but they are starting to make more appearances as they got together. Also- are you going to expand on the small Josh/Donna plotline. It would be interesting to have Leo and Margaret getting involoved in that. OK- that's all I'm going to say. Great Job! I love it! Continue soon!rnrnScotch Tape

  • 10-20-03 I have just started reading your story on Leo and Margaret and really liked it. I never thought of them as a couple, but you guys really made me see that. I am new to this group and love it! Great stories from everyone. I like him and Margaret rather than him and Jordan together. I think the writers of The West Wing should pay attention to this site. I watch West Wing every single night on Bravo and have fallen in love with Leo. At first I was in love with Sam, but Leo won me over. I just love everything about Leo! I tend to fall for the characters rather than the actors even John Spencer is one of my favorite actors out there.I really hope Jordan is gone for good. I did not like them together last season. Though I love the actress portraying her I did not like her with Leo. Let's hope to see more scenes with Margaret and Leo this season. They are the funniest relationship on that show. I think Nicole Robinson should get some screen time. She is so funny as Margaret. I really enjoy her performances. The episode where she crashes the White House e-mail system over a muffin makes me laugh everytime!! Can't wait for November 18th when the first season of West Wing is released and I can watch all my favorite Leo/Margaret moments!! Keep up the good work!! jrosehistory

  • 10-21-03 hi, these last few parts have been super good! and this latest part today, wow, and now the evil guys are planning something. i liked how your showing leo's vulnerability, it's something that hasn't really been delt with on the show(personal, that is) and i think your doing a really good job at the characterization. i can't wait to see what happens next now that they received the warning. if it's margaret the angst factor goes up because it would be a battle between leo and ron, the latter i think is being in a major conflict with is observations on margaret when they've been around each other. you've got me on the edge of my seat, can't wait for more!!!! cheers, katie

  • 10-29-03 Chipmunk and Lynn, Hi! I just wanted to take a moment and drop you an email. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR STORY!!!! IT IS WONDERFUL!!!! LOL....I know, you are saying, "who is this lunatic?!?!?" I have been laid off from my job and found myself with some free time, so I have been watching "The West Wing" on Bravo Channel in the afternoons. I have always loved the show in prime time, and find I really am enjoying it even more now! Anyway, I decided to cruise the 'Net and see if there was any West Wing Fan Fiction out there! Wow...was I surprised! I happened upon your link on another page (actually it was because your stories were listed as Leo/Margaret stories) that I chose to click on. WOW...what a great move that was on my part! I have written FF for "Gunsmoke", the classic western series which I love and have discovered a great many folks who share my interest and now count them among my friends! Who says only bad stuff happens on the Web? I have even met a few in person, from all over the country, it's been fun! I love reading stories that other have written about the characters that I love. Anyway, that's why I went looking for WW FF. Sorry, I'm off the subject.....I chose to read a "Leo/Margaret" story because I think Leo McGarry is so damn SEXY. Oh geez....the rugged good looks, sweet crooked smile, strong and yet sensitive and vulnerable....wow....what a fantastic man. That Margaret is damn lucky...I wanna tell ya! (But, I gotta confess, if it were me, my hands and lips would be all over the guy....LOL! She has great self-restraint, and I salute her!) I do have a super husband of 23 yrs. who has the exact same qualities, so I'm not looking....but, boy, if I were....Leo would be right at the top!! Before you think I'm a nut case...I know the difference between reality and fiction...John Spencer is the actor, Leo is the character...but hey, a gal can dream, can't she??? "Leo's Dilemma" was a really wonderful story. It was well-written and quite interesting. (It kept me up very late....I couldn't put the darn thing down! LOL) I love the way Margaret has taken such lovingly good care of "her man". It is so sweet. I think it is awesome the way the whole West Wing "family" looks out for each other in your story. We have discussed this among my Gunsmoke Buddies...why is it that we seem to "like" (for lack of a better word) to find our favorite characters hurt and vulnerable and then lovingly being taken care of in stories? I can't tell you how many times Marshall Matt Dillon has been shot, stabbed, beat up, etc., etc. LOL!!! I think we all wish we were the ones taking real good care of him!! I have told my Gunsmoke Buddies many times....I feel the way to judge a good FF story is when you can't remember later if it was an actual episode or a story?!?!? Sometimes the line becomes rather fuzzy, and in your mind's eye you can see the story as if it were truly filmed as an episode. Your story is just such a gem. I got lost in it, and could see it unfolding as I read. It was so good. Now, I NEED to go read "the rest of the story"...."Leo's Recovery". I can hardly wait!!! Hey, honey....it might be soup and sandwiches for supper tonite...I'm gonna be real busy! Thank you for sharing your time and talents with the rest of us! I know how much work, sweat, time, frustration, joy, and pleasure it is to write. You are both very giflted, and I appreciate you giving me the gift of your stories.   • 10-31-03 final part, what? did i miss read that, say it ain't so, we must have more of your writting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really liked how you have margaret and leo opening up and sharing with each other, and i think that your dealing with the subject matter in this part very well. and those pesky kiddnappers, are hiding and getting ready for something nasty i just can't figure out what, good job at keeping us guessing. i wish that i could write descriptions like you,and you are so good at getting their characterization right. i've been trying to write this leo/margaret/toby story and toby is so throwing me off. but your so right on. can't wait for more : ) cheers, katie

  • 11-01-03 Chipmunk and Lynn, Hi ..greetings from Pennsylvania! I forgive you for the delay in replying to me for one reason.....Recovery Pt. 4B!!! LOL!!! Thanks for posting the last part. (oh, I hate that word, last....I want more...way more!!LOL!!!). I must tell you, I was waiting for the "jet" to soar in the last part...to really get airborne, and was a bit disappointed when the deed did not get done...but, on the other hand, the anticipation is wonderful. After all, NASA didn't get to the moon on the first trip! I just love the way you write Leo as such a sensitive guy...I know he is all gruff at the White House, that bellow and rough exterior, but inside is a big old Teddy Bear! I had to chuckle when I read that he will be going along with Margaret to see her gynecologist. THAT should be very, very interesting! Hopefully a few things will be resolved with her and the "pilot" may just hit his target yet! LOL!! So get writing....what do you mean you need to sleep, why? Isn't writing this wonderful FF you turn out enough of a power booster? Seriously, I do look forward to reading more of your work...it is just so good. I love the way you have captured the characters in your story. They are true to form, but you still have added new dimensions to them that we may not have seen revealed just yet. You have rounded them into "people" with their quirks, likes, goods, bads and uglies! Oh, you are so talented. As far as re-reading FF....oh, is that why all the pages of my FF get so dog-earred???? I must have 30 spiral binders full of Gunsmoke FF. I try to keep in organized, but, you know how that is! Now I need to start a whole new set of binders for WWFF, mostly Leo/Margaret stuff.
