| Chip moved on to a variety of situations, classic rock with Too Much Fun, R&B with Out Of Control, adult pop with Saratoga. While with Saratoga, playing in the Lake George region, he met now long time partner John Eisenhart, and they formed the LG/Glens Falls area prog powerhouse Lake City. They found a common bond in the music of Yes, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, and Little Feat, and grew a substantial following performing the music they loved, as opposed to the accepted club repetoire of r&b and classic rock. Chip came to settle in the Lake George region, and after Lake City, joined the hard rock trio The Teez, and travelled extensively throughout the New England area. But the rock&roll lifestyle began to wear thin, and Chip returned to Lake George, got married to Carole, and bought a home in the village. |

| Through the 90's, Chip continued to play locally, particularly at the popular Sandy's Clam Bar in nearby Glens Falls, with prog rockers Thin Ice, reuniting with John Eisenhart in Extra Extra, and with Royal Scam. Chip also did work in the recording studio, appearing on CD's by Thom Martin, and Adiradical (with guitarist Tim Ellifritz). In 2002, Chip returned to his theater roots, spending the summer in a production of Ain't Misbehavin', featuring the music of Fats Waller. |
