On this very day 25 years ago, My parents Randy and Lisa were married.  For those of you who do not know the story of how they met and what they did before they were married, i will tell you



Lisa Freeland (before Married) is the daughter of Don and Jacque Freeland who live in Dallas Center. At the time she was born, they lived in Fresno California. They live there for many years before her dad started to move around jobs. Their next location was Riverton, WY. They stayed there for a few years and then finally moved to Iowa. About this time from what i can remember, mom was in her teens and up in High school.  Thoughout high school she dated several guys. She finally found Randy and they continued their relationship outside of HS.  Now we turn to Randy



Randy Howell is the Son of Robert and Twila Howell. He was born in Des Moines and has lived in Dallas Center all of his life. ( i guess he loves it.. were still here) Randy had a few jobs as he was growing up. As a kid, he worked at the Mercuriser Boat shop in town with Don Burger. He then shifted and started working at Van Wall John Deere in Perry, When he graduated from HS and was with lisa, he join the guards. He was in there for a few years and realized he wanted to start a family. He continued to work at Van Wall.



That is kind of the shortened up version of the story. 25 Years later a lot has changed. They now have 2 kids Mike(me) -21 and Daniel (bro) -19.  They are still constantly trying to make their house a better place to live. The garage project is going well and new photos have just been posted.  Today Dad works at City of Clive Public Works and mom works at Mcdonald Brown and Fagen Law Offices.
