Gerardo (my current boyfriend) and I met via match.com, an internet personals service. We are still friends with some of the other guys we met through match.com. Will it work for you? I do not know, if you do not look for Mr. Right, you probably will not find him.
We are on a survey panel for consumer products. One of the surveys asked how many visits per week do you make to a gourmet coffee shop. The top category was 2 or more, but in that week someone (very special to me) had made 9 visits!
We enjoy travel, hiking, movies, and just hanging out. Both of us read a lot--business related non-fiction, science fiction and random gay books. I have an addiction to volleyball, and the bf was becoming a volleyball widow, but we are happy. Right dear? I was in the stands for many of the Stanford matches for men and women in 1996 and 1997 when we lived in the Bay Area. I was playing 2-3 times a week at City Beach in Santa Clara, but I did not spend much time playing in Dallas. In 2000, I joined DIVA the Dallas Independent Volleyball Association, but I only played as a sub because of my travel schedule. In 2001, I again played sub on a team in the spring, and then at the end of the season joined the team for the tournament. We won a game, but that was it.
The boyfriend and I both like to travel. Sometimes we even go together. Our trips together in 1999 included London UK, Toronto Canada, the Bay Area, Central California, Denver, and Philadelphia.
Gerardo convinced me to go on a gay cruise chartered by RSVP in March 2000. We had a great time and met several interesting guys on our trip. I think the link on the main page has the story. The pictures are on our photoisland site. Login as clbs and password: rsvp Later in 2000, we did a summer trip to Central California, then went to Guadalajara for Thanksgiving. In December 2000, we did a quick 8 days in Barcelona. That too has photos on the photoisland site.
In 2001, we did a trip to Puerto Vallarta in March for
Spring Break. I will try to keep up with the trips. In 2002, we'll be going on
another RSVP cruise.
