Al reminded us of this years officers, Vice President LeRoy Venn Treasurer Don Angelbeck Secretary Roxy Valtinson Show Chairman Hank Mossman Assistant show chair Sam Wilson. Membership Chair is Ken Morgan, if you haven't paid your dues for this year see Ken. Audrey Schmaltz has the 07 dangles and if you need a name tag see Audrey for them also.
Don Angelbeck reminded us about the website and also if you have pictures of your carvings on a disk he can post up to 15 pictures for each carver on the web site. Be sure to check it out.
The Rio Grande Valley Wood Carvers show is January 19 and 20 in Pharr at the Pharr International Civic Center. We hope to see you there.
The Chip O Tex show is February 9 and 10 at Casa De Amstad, again this year we will need a lot of help. We will need help on the first morning to get the carvings for display and judging to the right place on the tables. Also there will be room for volunteers at the door for both days and as always we will need help with security for the entire show. Be sure to finish some small cutouts for door prizes for the show. Our show is a success because of the help you all give.
Lets all be aware of the visitors we have while carving, some of them may be a future carver just waiting for an invitation to join us. See you on Tuesdays and happy carving!
