Bob Gagnon needs more finished small carvings to be given away during the show. Also think about something you could donate for the auction the week after the show.
Sec. Roxy Valtinson needs help when Casa De Amistad opens on Friday, Feb.10 about 7 to help set up the tables with carvings for display.
Remember we have a web site to display your carvings on. The site is on your membership card.
Hank Mossman announced that Leroy Venn is taking early registrations. We would like as many as possible before the show begins.
We need more volunteers for guard work. See Eb .
All people chairing park tables see Hank Mossman for handouts to post in your parks.
Last year Hank did a survey and found word of mouth works best to advertise the show lets all do our part to pass the word about our show. Advertising is also being done.
Help is also needed at the front door, remember to ask if there is something you can help with.
Hank is also looking for someone that could help with a computor setup to count votes for peoples choice. If we don�t find someone to do this we will need help to count the votes by hand.
Be ready to volunteer at the show there are many areas help will be welcome even if it is just to give someone a break for a while. We are looking for good turn out so there will be a lot to do.
Al asked if we liked to be able to continue to carve while a meeting is going on and all agreed that we did.
The date has been set for our members meal for Sunday March 5 at 4 p.m. at Park Place in the Ball Room.
