Brindle Boy's Success Story

I am happy to inform everyone that Brindle Boy has found his new forever home. He was adopted by a wonderful couple who were looking for a playmate of smaller stature for their 15 month old German Shepherd named Magnus.

I want to thank the CRT Committee for encouraging me to take Brindle (a Chihuahua/possibly Italian Greyhound mix) as a CRT Rescue since he is a very tall boy and weighs in at about 13 - 14 pounds. There are many breed rescue groups out there that WILL NOT take mixes, or any dog that is not close to the AKC standard for their particular breed. CRT is not one of them.

I also want to thank all of the CRT Volunteers and Wilkes County, NC Humane Society, who had a part in Brindle's rescue and fostering. Thank you Meaghan Arpe, CRT, for picking up Brindle, taking him to the Vet when he was very sick, and fostering him. Thank you to Kathy Swain, CRT, for helping transport Brindle to Atlanta. And a Big Thank You to Nancy Robbins, CRT, for fostering Brindle for the last couple of months, her husband Steve for being understanding and supportive, and to their daughters, Laura and Katie, for helping care for Brindle and teaching him "tricks".

And to you, Chihuahua@Onelist members and CRT-Volunteers, thanks for reading this and for supporting Chihuahua Rescue & Transport with your time and your donations.
