THIS TIME

Filtering inside, in part
A destination and a feeling
What will come of nothing
For a failing of the mind
I'm now afraid, but not of fear
So many misunderstandings
Conscious and still outstanding
Regretlessly I travel forward in time

This time
Nothing shakes this solidity
This line
Is drawn in solitary

Finding all I didn't want to hear
Based on a useless fear
Some kind of innocence
Has faded though the years
Every last inch of distance
Is held in every non-existent tear
So still and so chaotic
Can't put a finger on it
If there was time I'd see
But you were there without me

This time
Nothing shakes this solidity
This line
Is drawn in infinity

If it was now would it matter to me
Can faith still see what could be
If it was then could we wait to see
Release the simplicity and just believe

Wait...
A misplaced reaction pondering attraction
Subtraction
Reactions have failed
Our fate was derailed
Sold out for lack of reason
For the bigger screen dipiction

So I say goodbye
Still I won't lie
Though sad to see it go
I hope you will truly know
I will someday get to show

Someday soon
