Gazing deep into the eyes of a stranger
Try not to think or think not to try
Unaware of apparent coming danger
Still this will all pass me by
Deepening energy, no time to reason why
A silence falls into my heart
Recall the images but focus seems lost
Can't call a lie to what's begun
I search within and all I find is confusion
Give me hope, give me fear or find me a solution
I need some resolution, I'll settle for anything
Glimpse within and tell me what is missing
Anything?
Something just quite isn't there
I don't recall just what was said
This life moves faster than we see
I can't help but notice it all catching up with me
So don't look into the doorway
To the further unknown
I see you try to pull away
But I refuse to go alone
You try to tell me
Just say anything
Say that you'll stay
Killing all my instincts
Crushing all my hopes and dreams
Getting used to falling
It's not as easy as it seems
It's always been a losing battle
Struggling in vain
Suddenly nothing matters

Trying not to shed a single tear
Regretting my own weakness I can't stop it now
