Featuring Baby Food
(1) Veggie with Rice (Stage 3 Food)
(2) Stage 1 or Stage 2 Baby Food
I have used green beans, peas, broccoli and cauliflower to make this. Fresh or frozen.

If Green beans is used:

Ingredients:

2 Packages of frozen green beans.
1 cup of cooked rice.


Methods:

1.  Steam the green beans for 15 mins until soft.  Reserve the steaming liquid.

2.  Use a blender, add in some steaming liquid, rice and then green beans, puree until fine.  If too thick, add more liquid, until the desired consistency is achieved.  Freeze immediately in the freezer.

Variation:  Steam some carrots until soft, finely chopped it and add it into the mixture.
      
   
Use only one ingredient, can be veggie or fruit.  For example, sweet potato, squash, carrot (after 7 months), peas, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, apple, pear, and peach.

If sweet potato is used:

Ingredients

1 large sweet potato, peeled and cut into smaller pieces (faster to steam).

Methods

1.  Steam in a steamer for 20 mins until soft.  Use a blender, add in some steaming liquid and then the sweet potato, puree until very fine.  Add in more liquid if needed.
Freeze immediately in the freezer in a small container or in ice cube tray.

Stage 1 is about 2oz of baby food.

Stage 2 is about 4oz of baby food.

Stage 3 is about 6oz of baby food.
