Kuih Bunga ~ I loved this cookies when young and am glad that I found the recipe at Jo's Deli Bakery website. I actually burnt the first four pieces and had to throw it away. The cookie could be hard to get out. But after a few tries and heat adjustment, I got a hang of it. Here's the link to the recipe: http://jodelibakery.netfirms.com Look under Southeast Asian Delights and look for Crispy Honeycombs.
This is the Pineapple Tarts that I made. These were made without using the special pineapple cutter. I just used whatever cutters that I have in the house. Of course I tried my best to make my 2nd batch looks a lot prettier. Check my recipe page for recipe.

This is my second try of Kuih Bangkit this year. The first batch was only so-so, something was not quite right, but I couldn't figure out what. So, I tried on another recipe which uses icing sugar instead of sugar. And Walah.... I finally got the taste and color that I was looking for. Crispy & melt in the mouth!
